His strategic leadership of ShiftKey’s growth in his previous role as chief revenue officer, combined with his creative energy and commitment to investing in people, positions ShiftKey to continue growing in strong partnership with the board.
Vitek brings more than 20 years of experience in technology, healthcare, recruitment, and business management to the role, with a focus on building a more accessible workforce and economy, and empowering individuals and communities to thrive. In his previous role as chief revenue officer, Vitek led a rapidly growing team of more than 125 people to identify and connect facilities with the right talent to meet unique patient needs in the moment and expand access to quality, affordable care. As a result, facilities have posted more than 50 million hours of shifts on ShiftKey, interacting with hundreds of thousands of licensed professionals looking for flexible work.
He succeeds Tom Ellis in the role of CEO and is committed to building on Ellis’ legacy to leverage technology to support the broader ecosystem of healthcare and scale the ShiftKey platform to make empowered work a reality for licensed professionals across more industries.
